Off course! The 10 domains that dind't make it : Ast MSD: What the heck? I don't even remember this one. The Darklord sounds cooler than the domain - a dracolich is definitely a rare breed in RAVENLOFT. And I'm all about updating RAVENLOFT to cover 4E and some of the disregarded races, but I also th...

And the winners (with the comments from the judges) are: Annaes MSD: I'm proud to say I was one of the first to see the potential in a domain like this. It's a throwback but yet fresh and new at the same time. Again I have no idea about SPELLJAMMER other than its an oldschool TSR world just like the...

I guess it's for the calculations made in the article they mentioned at the beginning of this thread. Check it out here.

Well, if enough of a Toolbox approach was taken (the way GURPS sourcebooks usually did) then gamers could have it either way... Having said that, I have no idea how that would be achieved without weakening both. If the Voices In My Head come up with any creative ideas(there's a first time for every...

If you're going where I think you're going, WolfKook, you're about to opt for a "compromise" that happens to be the least popular choice in the poll. I don't know where I'm going... I swear I was just giving my opinion, not choosing an option arbitrarily, ignoring everyone else. I guess I...

No, frankly, its not you. The page-flipping mechanic in MSD's board is pretty confusing. I never wouldn't have figured it out myself, except by cheer, blind luck... even though web interfaces happens to be my current field of study. ...and one of my specialties, but I agree with Igor that it is not...

Making RLR a "real" world makes it more stable and coherent, and as Igor points out, makes for a more structured history; something that would be firmly in line with our original goals. Moreso, with Ravenloft as a goal, the Dark Powers would be intruders, or at least they would be subject ...

Are we revealing who did what at this point, then? Not yet... You'll have to wait to round three, just like everyone else  By the way, it could be great if we had a less strict word limit on the next rounds... Pretty please? :D Mmmmmm... I'll think about it... (See below) There's suddenly ...

And I'm sorry, Wolf, I misread the nature of the contest... No problem, Doc. I just hope neither you nor anyone else was left with a great domain idea that didn't make it to the open call's deadline. Any suggestions for the contestants? Anything you want to see in any of those domains? Remember tha...

The domains in the contest are: Annaes Influenced by the idea of Spelljammer (!). A huge, crumbling city that once was home to a starfaring race, now slowly reverting to savagery. Darklord: The Black Dragon, a sentient spelljamming ship obsessed with creating or scavenging mind-control magics powerf...

I wish I hadn’t spent the last two years as a nocturnal post office. (Long story, don’t ask). That one's easy... Granted! You haven't spend the last two years as a nocturnal post office, but now you don't remember what you did any of those nights... However, you're increasingly aware that there are...
