Anyone think of any clever names for the last decade, or the next?
The last century had the Roaring Twenties, the Dirty Thirties, and the Psychodelic Sixties.
We can't let this century get boring with all sorts of lame wannabe decades.

May I suggest that this decade be the Terrifying Teens?

First of all Happy New Year. A sickness bedridden me, so I spent New Year's Eve in Bed reading Ravenloft Gazzetteer I. It was one of best parties I've ever had, with no hangover next day

IIRC, there were some surveys done in early 2000 to see what sort of nickname people liked. I believe "Aughts" was rather popular, even if a bit antiquated.

"Naught" is also a British term for "zero". So the decade starting from 2000 to 2009 could be called "the naughties".
