The OST of The Serpent and the Rainbow is an obvious one, but long OOP without an MP3 version.

Oh man. This is (literally) my jam. I'm very much an audio guy so I've put way too much time into this.

I've seen Castlevania brought up, but want to go a step further and pitch two specific tracks.
Castlevania 64's "Silent Madness" is an underrated gem and good for background haunting ambience on a loop (I've used it for both the House on Gryphon Hill and Dr. Dominiani's asylum): https://youtu.be/hYUNifUb4aE

In addition, "Pillared Corridor" from Super Castlevania IV has become the unofficial theme music of Dr. Rudolph van Richten for my group. There's ASCIIMOV, a musician from Spain who does instrumental electronic and metal soundtracks for Doom-inspired video games. His work for BlooM (a fusion of Doom and Blood) is certainly too science fiction for Ravenloft, but some tracks feel distantly ethereal enough. That and I'm a bit biased, because BlooM is one of my favorite Doom mods. His recent work for the Hands of Necromancy series feels right at home in its dark fantasy vibes, at least from the released teaser tracks. Here's the artist's page.

So, this is TANGENTIALLY Ravenloft at best, but I gave the rather infamous album by The Cure, Pornography, another listen. The entire album oozes malice, macabre, anger, violence, resentment, resignation, and more. All in all, a look at where the band was at during that time, and a true goth classic for it. But hey, it was exactly what I needed for completing my QtR article from this year. The aggressive drums, uncanny distortion, lack of closure in many of the songs, and more isn't a clean translation for Ravenloft... but it sure puts me in the mood for it.
Judge for yourself.

I was eighteen when it came out, and this album blew our mind, from the first sentence of the first song to the chaos of the last song.

We danced like bats on these powerful songs.

It was the second record to be heavilly based on drums, by the way, a year after Public Image's Flowers of Romance.

Still in my top 10 albums after all this time.

The Sail North project takes a lot of inspiration from folklore, and can get pretty dark sometimes.
'Tale of the shadow' and 'Tales from Luria' could literally fit as plot hooks.
