adventure for a 4th lv party
what would be a good adventure(published or unpublished) for a party of adventures around Mordent, Dementliu, and Lamordia; along the coast or on shore? The pc's are pretty crafty so something a little more difficult could work. Trying too stay away from reavers for right now. And i would like to run"The evil eye" in the future(i know it's not in the area). any ideas or help would be greatly thanked.

I come up w/ more twisted and horrific material than any published adventure could, read some Lovecraft and Poe and maybe some King. Then listen to some Romantic Era, Classical era and some Industrial Metal Music. Congrats you are now in the right frame of mind.
No but really, I think you could come up w/ your own adventure that'd be better than any published one.
If you need soem adventure seeds I could list a few:
*While in one of Richemulot's cities the PC's come upon a corpse who's missing it's brain...
*Whilst travelling in the countryside, the PC's come upon a villiage gripped by plague. Some of the villiagers have a single puncture would on their wrist. (A vrykolaka has gone into a feeding frenzy in the town)
*The PC's find that whatever town they visit succumbs to a ravenous disease, are the PC's themselves unwittingly killing innocents just by being near them? (great moral dillemmas w/ this one, make the disease difficult to purge themselves of or else it'll be a trivial matter)

Re: adventure for a 4th lv party
Mmmm, let's see.... I would recommend Bleak House, for part of it its set in the area arround Lamordia and Darkon. Me and my players enjoyed it a lot so if you can get your hands on this Deluxe adventure, I am guessing you will too.vipera aspis wrote:what would be a good adventure(published or unpublished) for a party of adventures around Mordent, Dementliu, and Lamordia; along the coast or on shore? For Lamordia, you can also check the Ravenloft MC II appendix. There you can find the Athea entry. She resides in the island of Demise, which still belongs to Lamordia. You can also find nice adventure hooks here for a short but creepy adventure.
Of course there's always your imagination for creating an adventure your players will never forget.

The Book of Sacrifices netbook from the Kargatane had a region called Locknar Cove, a coastal village nestled between Darkon and Nova Vaasa. I'm using it as the base for my current campaign (coincidentally, my players are now 4th level, too!), taking elements from Goodman Games' Dungeon Crawl Classics #5, which has a ghoulish cult operating out of a ruined coastal tower. (The module is designed for levels 7-8, so I've adjusted the ELs down to match, and made the adventure more "Ravenlofty.")
