Shadow and Steel: AVAILABLE NOW!

Post by Dion of the Fraternity »

As a tie-in to the upcoming Year of the Tenth Age slated for this year, the Midway Haven Observatory is releasing a new netbook this month: Shadow and Steel: Weapons of Legacy in Ravenloft, detailing twelve new legacy items that could be found in the Dread Realms. This of course is tied to the D&D accessory Weapons of Legacy which came out last year.

Here are just six of the items of legacy which you can incorporate into your campaign:

Anahita Ushas: a mystic lamp from Sri Raji that serves as a remnant of a dead cult.

Coron and Culion: two Paridonian weapons with a common history of searching for the ultimate human ideal.

Harp of the Giamarga: a musical instrument belonging to a Vistani legend even more intriguing than that of the Dukkar.

Lamentation of Night: a bow whose legacy was founded under a night when three moons shone full.

Moarnoye: a mystic shield made entirely of brambles that carries a tragic past.

And to give more hints on what this netbook is all about, you can DOWNLOAD A PREVIEW of Shadow and Steel, detailing Via Ossis, a dagger from Darkon with the ability to extract secrets from the dead.

Shadow and Steel will be available for download at the Midway Haven Observatory within this month. Check this thread for ongoing details. :)

Oh wow, excellent idea. I loved Weapons of Legacy and I had thought it could tie in really well with Ravenloft. I'm glad someone actually got around to implementing it :)

I actually see more use for Weapon of Legacy in Ravenloft than other settings...

Can't wait. I have enjoyed a lot of the things done by the Haven.
I remember the first war, the way the sky burned... Faces of angels destroyed.

Dion,

Would you mind if we mentioned Coron and Culion in the Paridon Gaz?
