OK lil heads up I won't be back until after midnight. ewan can play Norzak until then if he needs to. D&D tabletop game tonight!

It's moving faster and faster as it drifts away towards the center of the river and downstream. When you arrive at the pier, the houseboat has already cleared 10 or more feet of water from the end of the walkway! A running leap might carry an unencumbered man to the portside of the boat, if he were a good jumper. Otherwise, one would probably have to swim to catch the vessel, unless one had some other way of getting to it....

Here's what you need to get across, not counting armor check penalties.

Hey guys, I know it's bad timing, but I'm going to be unavailable until Monday, we have a big psychology conference starting tomorrow, and I've been invited to a get-together beforehand.

As far as the boat goes, Dorgio is going to try to find some way around shedding his armor. If Norzak can toss him and the others a rope, he'll do that. If there's absolutely no other choice, he'll take off his armor and try to swim it.

Once on the boat, he'll fight front line, with his spear, if he can keep his armor. If not, then he'll stick to the rear and take shots with his crossbow. He'll of course use his healing spells if needed (I think he's still got two first level spells left, plus both his domain spells and the 0th level spells). Also, if we have any heavily armored opponents, Dorgio will cast heat metal on them. If none of the enemies are heavily armored, he'll cast heat metal on whomever has a gun and looks the toughest. If nobody has a gun, he'll use the heat metal on whichever opponant looks the toughest who's either wielding a metal weapon or wearing some kind of metal armor.

OK back. Norzak will try to oepn the hatch as quietly as possible. JMatyr, Norzak wants to go first with Jon using the crossbow from atop if he wants to. The crazy dwarf plans to jump down, and surprise whomever is inside besides the brunette

Cool. Lets see what ewan says happens. Off to bed but basically once Norzak lands, he is casting ray of Exhaustion on the man in the room. Hopefully it's Van Dieks. MAybe we can listen quickly before the action ensues, ewan? That way I'll know where to focus my spell. It'll also be good for Jon to know where to aim

After getting over to the boat and positioning himself, Alain will take a listen himself for any thing useful . Listen check at 21 Ewan . Does he hear anything useful .

Alain hears movement inside the cabin at one point, but cannot pinpoint the source[ this is before he moves into his high up position to cover the two doors and the rope, naturally]. He is pretty sure that there is more than one person moving about inside the ''house.''

Jon never had a clear shot at the fugitive, not from up top. He can swivel and fire into the man now that he's out on the deck, of course. Same goes for Alain and Benn.

Are Cirdan and Dorgio crossing by climbing the rope?

Norzak.... since the man is laying down exhausted, jumps on teh man's back, arms wrapped aorund his neck. NOt to kill him, but to hornswaggle us another prisoner! ewan I think it's fair to presume my attempt is successful? If not I can always edit, ok?

Sure, you've grabbed him. He puts up a fight, but is too weak to do much more than wiggle around and try to get free. Norzak wins the grapple contest.
