And I apologize for my poor explanations, but I'm just looking for listings that include either a book name (e.g. Protector of Darkon) or both a book name and author name (e.g. Tome of Terror by Hans and Jakob Gleam).

If there's not even a book name, I'm not particularly interested (e.g. a reference to an individual's library having "many books on varied subjects"; if there aren't any names to those books, it's not usable).

The purpose of this is so that other Ravenloft DMs can have a list of actual books to have PCs find or NPCs own. Saying that "there's a necromantic text sitting on the table" is weak; saying that "a copy of The Tainted Writings of Blackcomb stares you in the face" has a bit more pizazz. Especially if the villain you're hunting had dropped a copy of that same book after the PCs gave chase.

Anyway, I apologize again for not specifying this earlier, as I could have saved you a touch of time... Sorry about that.

Crap, does anyone have access to The Heart's Final Beat from TSR Jam 1999? I'd like to also have that covered and any other RPGA references, but I don't even know where to start looking for such things.

And I'll have a basic Dread Possibility for you shortly on the Liffe thing; I've yet to decide fully on the name, but I think it'll either be "Claverian Chamber Orchestra" or "Antonio Lofgren's Traveling Orchestra (ALTO)" with maybe a less silly A.L. name or maybe even "All Liffean" instead. I should have it to you on either Wed or Thurs; I just need to get a real name for it and, uh, actually write out the Dread Possibility so that it is both interesting and not long-winded.

Holy crap! I'm so glad I'm doing this project, it just helped me with a supporting quote for my Dread Possibility for above. From Book of Souls, p8, regarding the traders coming back from the islands in the Sea of Sorrows: "With them, they have brought rumors of ... strange wild music played on flutes and drums. Seven men died while caught in ecstasies induced by this music."

I'm so using this to support my DP's potential viability.

I don't know if they *should* count, but I added them anyway. If you check the final copy of the 3E references, you'll find:

I don't think I'm going to go for that first one; the only netbook/fan-made things that I'm going to specifically consider as canon are the Kargatane and FoS books, as they're both the "official" groups. While the references seem nice (it's like the "Casebook of Alanik Ray" books), I'm afraid that I'm not covering *all* fan-based things.

On the second, though... Where did that information come from? Is this from the "A is for" "B is for" etc threads? I'm afraid that I really haven't followed them since "D is for Diabolical."
