The quarterstaff has a +2 enhancement and... something else. Something Conjuration-based, but you're not quite sure what it is. ;)

I'm not such a big example myself, so of course I'll be patient :)

Hi folks,

I'm going on holidays tomorrow. That means two weeks away, and without regular internet access. Please, don't wait for me to continue the game. Have at it!!

Goren can have cast Detect Magic on the vials/potions. He won't know what the potions are but can tell the school of magic, correct Rock?

So that being said he can explain to Orda what he would know.

Close call, Rock. I debated for a long time whether Zumba would take hold of the gift. Rather tempting, and not exactly easy for a barbarian who has rage as a class ability. Thankfully, he's also a kind of monk.

Between you and me, I'm glad you/Zumba resisted. ^^ Giving in to that particular temptation would have opened the door to some pretty bad Powers Checks...

I thought the same too, but I think the main reason why he did resist was for pride. The whole scene seems like a setup for mockery: like a nobleman allowing a weak-character peasant to impersonate the noble for one day, in a disguised test of values.

The peasant hates the noble because this exploits him, but given the chance, he would jump immediately to be in the noble's shoes and even exaggerate the very deeds he hates when directed against himself.

Inevitably, this would give many reasons for the noble to later humiliate the peasant and increase his torment. Zumba has his dignity, he would not like that.
