PCs who arrive early may overheard either conversation. [no need for rolls- just excercise common sense]. Talking to the new butler is an option, of course. Do as you like.

ewan I made a small error in hp it's a d4 not a d6 so I removed 2 hp from Norzaks total
.
We have to decide about the Shadow Familiar actually because the familiar isn't well explained in the sense that it says to refer to the PHB on some matters but it's a Shadow of Norzak not an animal

Hmmm...shadow familiar. PM me the basic info on it, and I'll give you a ruling.
Oh, Norzak's sense motive doesn't reveal anything much about Charlotte- she seems nervous, but that very well could just be concern for Benn's well-being.

Sent you an email with the Shadow Familiar ewan. I did reread it and the only thing it doesn't specify is what +3 bonus Norzak would get to a specific skill as Familiars usually give to a Mage/Sorceror in the PHB.
