Equipping characters- this can be done off-scene, before Chapter Three begins. Just tell me what you want to buy, and I'll let you know if you can buy it. Pont-a-Museau is a big city, with lots of trade, so availability of nonmagical items is pretty good. Benn has letters of credit, and there's all that coinage in the chest...

Denys fully intends to set off either tonight or tomorrow morning , at the latest. May I presume the rest of you are in accord with this? You can always take more time, if you'd like.

Interlude will end within 24 hours. If anyone has anything left to say of do, say or do it now. I will resume with Chapter Three under the assumption that you all have entered the sewers after resting and equipping yourselves. Please let me know if there is a different plan of action in effect.

The interlude has ended. Chapter three has begun. It is the next day. eveyone had rested, is at full hit points, has had an opportunity to prepare spells,etc.

Split six ways, the money from the chest comes out to 100 GP for each of you. Denys will add 50 gp for any party member who desires it. If Benn uses the letters of credit he was given by Madam Renier, then that gives the party up to [not each of you individually] another 1000gp.

Any equipment you wanted, within reason, has been purchased and brought to the Sancerre home. Silver longswords and other large wepaons would need to be comissioned in advance, but knives, arrows,etc are reasonable. Any adventuring supplies from the PHB can be had at the PHB prices- except the everburning torch. Alchemical items are fine.


Any shopping may be assumed to have been done before the first post of Chapter Three.

Alain will also go along with Jon to keep an I on him . Also to suggest to him that he should on the way that he finds a better place to live and buy a good lock for the home to keep it secure . He does not have to spend any of the money from the chest on the lock or furnishing for the home . He could use the money from the letter of credit for this . And I have it on good Authority that his amount to use from the letter of credit is at least 177 gold and 8 silver pieces .

Skybolt is correct. After Alain makes his [compartively minor] purchases with the letters of credit. all the rest of you have 177 GP, 8 SP coming to you. That's less than he spent, by the way. The man aint greedy.
