QFT.

Let's all go and have a good Borcan wine together, friends.

I think it's become second nature for forums and forum posting.
The FoS boards are very, very troll-lite but we still post cautiously, wary of crossing bridges.
We fall into the familiar role of insulter/insultee a little too easily.

Hear hear. And don't we all love this site for it!

I am currently sitting in a bar drinking a chai tea latte while four lesbians at the next table are knitting (or crocheting? I can't tell) something big. They're laughing and talking about Sarah Palin.

I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere but I can't for the life of me figure it out.

Crap, one of the "lesbians" was actually a man.

I may have to go back and rethink this.

Ah, that's not bad.
Bad is when you find out the cute girl you're on a date with is in fact, a man. Well, ladybody, anyway. Yeah, that was embrassing.

HEY! I resent that! :? ("Kook" is actually my RL last name, you know)

Well, as we're in such a brotherly moment, I guess I'll let it pass. Welcome to the family, Jester!

Keeping it clean, here's the story:

I was chatting up this cute Asian girl at the bus stop. She gave me the digits, and told me to call her later that afternoon and we'd go to the movies ''or something.'' Naturally, I took this as a very good sign. I called my buddy to get passes for a movie [ we both worked as projectionists at different theraters, so we always helped each other out like that].

When date time rolled around, we went our for coffee before the film. My buddy called me while we were at the cafe and told me that the first showing is sold out, but he could get me into a late screening. I told the girl, Nicole, and she replied ''Well, my apartment is nearby, we could hang out over there for a while...''

Fast forward to us on the couch , getting to know one another. I was getting rather bold when my wandering hand came across...ummm...something I didn't expect to be there.  Needless to say, that sorta killed the romance. There was an awkward pause during which neither of us said anything. I saved the day by taking a long look at my watch and then announcing:

''Oh! look at the time! We'd better hurry up, because I hate to miss the start of the trailers, and we'll want to get good seats, oh -and popcorn , too!''

Well, at least it seems we did move past the Nintendo comments....

In other news, folks, the controversial "Domain of Dread" Dragon article now has a release date: October 27, by 12:01 am. If WotC's charging for access to magazine content by then (as seems likely), then it will be one of the ones you have to pay to read.

Of course, that's assuming WotC doesn't run into any delays. But at least it gives us some idea when the complaining, if called for, will recommence.

The kissing happened before I discovered the ''surprise.''

My plan is still to pay for a subscription just after the October issue is compiles (around Nov 3rd or 4th) so it'll expire on Dec 4th and I'll have both month's issues.
$4.95/month if you sign-up for a full year. $3.98/month if you pay the $7.95 monthly rate every two months. :D
