Keeping it clean, here's the story:
I was chatting up this cute Asian girl at the bus stop. She gave me the digits, and told me to call her later that afternoon and we'd go to the movies ''or something.'' Naturally, I took this as a very good sign. I called my buddy to get passes for a movie [ we both worked as projectionists at different theraters, so we always helped each other out like that].
When date time rolled around, we went our for coffee before the film. My buddy called me while we were at the cafe and told me that the first showing is sold out, but he could get me into a late screening. I told the girl, Nicole, and she replied ''Well, my apartment is nearby, we could hang out over there for a while...''
Fast forward to us on the couch , getting to know one another. I was getting rather bold when my wandering hand came across...ummm...something I didn't expect to be there.

Needless to say, that sorta killed the romance. There was an awkward pause during which neither of us said anything. I saved the day by taking a long look at my watch and then announcing:
''Oh! look at the time! We'd better hurry up, because I hate to miss the start of the trailers, and we'll want to get good seats, oh -and popcorn , too!''
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.
