Re: 7 Days...
I just got a message from the track, folks! The drivers of cars #2, #5, #21 and #23 are claiming sabotage... Which is worlds better than them threatening me, so let's go with that!
Who do you all think is most likely to have sabotaged their vehicles, hmm? And no, it's not me!

Re: 7 Days...
Tank you Rock. Down here in the pits, we are trying to find out what the ruckus is about. Its appears there have been several surprising incidents which has resulted in cars 2, 5, 21 and 23 failing to even get past the starting line.Rock wrote:I just got a message from the track, folks! It seems that car 2, the Darkenbeast Dragracer had a bit of a mishap with the starting lights. The lights were a little too bright and this sadly managed to dispel the transformation spell, resulting in a rather confused looking hamster becoming the number 2 entry.
Interviewer: Number 2, what to you have to say about this turn of events? You haven’t even left the starting line yet and your opponents are far ahead.
Hamster: *Chitter*. *Squeak*. *Scritch*
Interviewer: I see. Well, it appears they taking their mishap gracefully, but this may be because they are consoling themselves with peanuts which are on the floor.
Hamster: *Munch*, *munch*
Now onto car 21, and apparently they have forfeited! In an surprising turn of events lax security allowed a group of Goths to intercept Mr. Vampyre as he headed to the starting line!
Interviewer: Mr. Vampyre. You have forfeited the race? Why did you drop out of this event?
Goth1: No man, we told them that. We were just passing by, but when we saw him we just knew he was one of us
Goth2: Yeah, that pallid look, silver jewelry, the black clothes? It’s just soooo goth.
Goth3: A that expression he showed when he saw us approaching? So much inner pain. We knew we had found a kindred spirit amongst the teeming nobodies.
Vampyre: Please…. kill me…
Goth1: See? Even surrounded by his fellows he just wants the pain of existence to end. Now will you stop bothering us with your meaningless prattle. *ahem* Now the next verse is about the agony of having to meet expectations of others. ‘Dark wings hang the finish line in the race of death….”
Vamypre: *cries in pain*
Interviewer: Oooookay. I’ll have to give that a miss as we go over to find out what is happening with teams 5 and 23.
Someone sent me a postcard picture of the earth. On the back they had written, "Wish you were here."

I wanna know what the mystery of the missing car #14 is....
Or is that garage something we just don't talk about, around these parts.

No change in the top three so far, folks, but hot news from the Pits: security has freed the Vampyre from the goth invaders and he is in the race! He is in the race!
As before, #25 (Wolfwere) is in the lead, hotly pursued by #15 (Huecuva), with #20 (Vampire) on their heels in third!
In fourth position, #24 (Werewolf) is in a league of his own right now, but there's a rush in fifth to pass him: cars #7 (Fiend) and #8 (Ghost) are putting on the pressure! Strong forward movement from car #7 in this race, folks, the 'Faustian Ferrari' has been behind so far, but now she's gathering on the head of the pack!
In sixth, cars #6 (Ermordenung) and #17 (Lich) are neck-and-neck, which is not something to contemplate for the faint of heart!
And in seventh, cars #3 (Deathknight) and #28 (Mummy) are still moving! Will they manage to force an opening in the coming curve? Who knows!
Meanwhile, what's the word on cars #5 and #23 from the Pits?
And where oh where has car #14, 'The Dark Power Special' been hiding all this time...? Better keep looking over your shoulder until this race is over, folks!

Ghost (2) - the gateway to the supernatural; the face of fear (of Death; the greatest question that humankind just can't answer no matter how hard they try/lie).
Ghoul (4) - Cunning, non-religious/symbolic/survival-driven cannibalism is a deeply understated horror! Just think about it. Eating your dead loved ones is bad enough. But insatiable gorging on your body while you're still aware...that's sick.
Hag (2) - If you take away the classic skin and apply more of our history with "them" (abilities and more importantly faceless fear of not knowing which of your neighbours is in fact one) then it's psychological horror at its finest. Night/Old/The Hag is great too, especially if you know somebody who swears/swore by them (my grandmother was one).
Werewolf (2) - The pure animalistic savagery is just the tip of the iceberg (the gnawed bodies are just fuel consumption). The contagion (if it's used) and its potential to infect others, spread, and decimate entire populations is disturbing. Biohazard horror! We think we are better than animals because we fear what the animal within is capable of. Ego is a double-edged sword, humanity's horseblinds.
