Yeah, my map was missing too, but at least I still got the calander with the GE Gaz.Wiccy of the Fraternity wrote:I paid 50p at a car boot sale, but the map was missingDrinnik Shoehorn wrote:...I got mine for a tenner.

Agreed, but as I said before, information included in a product is a matter of personal taste. (of course if no information is in.....)David of the Frat wrote: Price-wise the comparison is $25 in 1994 dollars versus $34.99 in 2004 dollars, if you adjust for a decade of inflation the price isn't that different. And the page count is 224 to 287 so you get a full 63 pages more in the 3E version. Plus 96 of the boxed set's pages are adventures. Three! That's pretty sizable when they couldn't find the room to squeeze in a single qabal. All the world and extra information had to be published in a second suplement (Gothic Earth Gazetteer).
I've never managed to track down the Guide to Transylvania of the GE Gaz, or at least not at a price I could afford.Drinnik Shoehorn wrote:Yeah, my map was missing too, but at least I still got the calander with the GE Gaz.Wiccy of the Fraternity wrote:I paid 50p at a car boot sale, but the map was missingDrinnik Shoehorn wrote:...I got mine for a tenner.

Probably doesn't make you feel better then when I say my games store has always had a few copies sitting around still in their original wrapping.Wiccy of the Fraternity wrote:I've never managed to track down the Guide to Transylvania of the GE Gaz, or at least not at a price I could afford.Drinnik Shoehorn wrote:Yeah, my map was missing too, but at least I still got the calander with the GE Gaz.Wiccy of the Fraternity wrote: I paid 50p at a car boot sale, but the map was missing

As I remember it, the map wasn't anything to write home about anyways. Pretty much just a map of the world circa 1890 with some of the major cities highlighted, political boundaries, etc.Wiccy of the Fraternity wrote:I paid 50p at a car boot sale, but the map was missingDrinnik Shoehorn wrote:...I got mine for a tenner.

Definitely.Don Fernando wrote: I also can recommend you to try to get your hands on the Original MotRD boxed set, in e-bay, or as a ESD file.
Check out this page, they have a lot of ESD to sell from Vintage RL:
This will happen sooner or later, we all know it...ScS of the Fraternity wrote:So to that end, I propose that we all grab a few torches, some grenades, and storm the offices of White Wolf!
Broom closet on your right as you enter the manor, all the stocked up supplies (pitchforks, scythes, sickles, torches to burn, lanterns, small casks of oil, more angry mob-based equipment) for the WW storming is to be placed there before the event. Drusilla will hand oyu a ticket for what you deposit and it shall be kept safe (for instance, she does not have access to at least 1 key in the manor and it's THAT key).Desdichado wrote:This will happen sooner or later, we all know it...ScS of the Fraternity wrote:So to that end, I propose that we all grab a few torches, some grenades, and storm the offices of White Wolf!
