Given who is writing it, I expect a great book. It's most probably going to be very fantasy oriented, perhaps a little too much for Ravenloft - we'll see.
And about hearing that dread cow, I prefer they do hear it than not at all

WotC has opened a thread where we can submit questions for the product spotlight of this book.

Doesn't seem they are close to answering those questions we've asked...
Anyone has recent info on the product?

From the WotC boards.
"Terrify the players in your next campaign. Heroes of Horror is an entire sourcebook designed to help DMs introduce horror roleplaying into lone encounters, whole adventures, or as the focus of an entire setting. For example, the taint mechanic from Oriental Adventures has been expanded with rules for expressing it through physical, mental, and moral decay. Dreamscape adventuring also grants a perfect setting for a single episode or solo play. Written by veteran designer James Wyatt and newcomers Ari Marmell and C.A. Suleiman, check out Heroes of Horror and see what it takes to drive your players insane."

Nightmare Lands, anyone?

Instead of geting HoH for Dreamscape stuff, better get the Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary and/or Penumbra Occult Lore, some of the best d20 and in general, rpg products I've ever seen. The rules there are complete, and you get a lot of good ideas and critters to butcher.

I don't need 2 whole books about dreams! HoH has other useful stuff on horror as well.

They're of course, not only on dreams...

Really, some of the best d20 stuff out there. *Trust me.*

Check some review, when you find the time.

Ok (and when I'll get the money, ah I am moving to Lyon now, so for some months I'll have to be very careful on my expenses - PLUS, I want magic of ircanum, stormwrack AND heroes of horror...)

Oh yeah, RPG books are so expensive these days... 3 books, that will come to about 90 €...

Maybe not even a bad time for RL to take a break... Couldn't afford to buy one new book each month at that price... (A students life can be really awful some times...

)

Really, if you manage to get it cheaply, the PFB is one of the best fantasy bestiaries out there, albeit written for 3.0...

.. and yet it doesn't hold a candle to Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary.
Why? Because instead of giving you yet another 200 creatures which you won't remember in a week, it concentrates on templates with which to modify existing ones (including a full example each and every time).
Trust me.
Oh, and it's 3.5 too
