I haven't read all of it, but so far the prophecy of 13 women being slaughtered to free Malocchio from him binding has helped. I was already going to use something similar, only with 6 innocent women, and to free a different demon into RL named 'The Red Queen'.
I may use the Malocchio interpretation instead, only still have the Red Queen think that its to allow her into RL. Naturally, the GC could be just using her to help him unleash Malocchio. He is, after all, quite the heart breaker.
