YARR! We all KNEW it! DES is the BEST!

Seriously, you might want to check this out to get something of the *Barovian* feel:

Also, the FAQ section of this site is a great help.

Well I plan to search this thread and put the best idea in the Barovia domain of the month area.

Well, sorry about the link. the problem is that the board interpreted the final comma as part of the URL, which it obvisouly is not.
Here

if you have problems, just type it by hand. The dungeon crawl actually started yesterday at the very end of the session so I haven't written the log for it yet.
Also, I haven't put session 39 online yet (taht's the before last) so there is still not the first reference to the old Revolution where the treasure was stolen.

If I may suggest, be sure to read the interludes. They're not in Barovia and they refer to only one PC that decided to stay separated from the party, but they cover one special thread that gave me great pleasure to design. It has a strong sexual component, I advise beforehand, but I believe the villain has been well crafted and it was a true reward for me when the PC said, in game, "I can't kill him". You get to know, in the end, why the villain turned to evil ways and may even sympathise with him.... and then, there's the final revelation about the PC himself...
