OK.
This seems to be a passionate exchange, thanks for all :D
Maybe you're right after all, it's one of the best power of the druid and remove it could make the player feel cheated.
One of my friend give me a copy of Master of the wild, there are interesting materials for my druids, i will try that (thinking about that infusion stuff, seems funny and usefull).
But i feel it's an overpower but he's now 6th level after all, far more powerfull than most commoners in the core.
That was an interesting sharing and i will think twice of Mortepierre saying:
In ancient times, most spirits of the land were depicted as beasts gifted with supra-human intelligence, cunning, and/or wisdom PLUS obvious magical powers
That's obviously true ! koora!! would say a vistana :P

Careful with that accessory. It was written for 3.0 and not all game mechanics can be translated to 3.5 without creating powergaming stuff.

I would rather go with Complete Divine if I were you. Not only will it show you the Blighter PrC which would be very useful for an evil druid nemesis of your PC but it also offers a variety of "Wild" feats accessible only by lvl 5+ shapechanging druids.

Thanks for all yours advices.
I had the complete Divine for Christmas, it's an interesting book i will use some of the elements in there.
For the next session i will reconsider the druid character.
In fact i realize that the problem i had with my druid player was not the powers of his character but mainly his character himself.
His character was created a bit in a hurry and he never build a good background for him.In fact nobody knows where this Druid come from (even the druid himself) where does he get his powers and the such.
So could you tell me about your druid background (for me the only places where druids come from are savage lands (Verbrek) or Forlorn).
We will reread the rules too and had the Ravenloft flavor for his character.
