2E vs. 3E Tarokka Deck

Wasn't the 3E tarokka deck part of the wave of stuff that got released just as White Wolf's license with Wizards ran out?

I seem to remember the 3E tarokka deck and Gazetteer V cost me more than most other Ravenloft items when I bought it on ebay.

Could be, i don't know. Or maybe the print runs were lower near the end of the line.

I do remember that i ordered my first Tarokka deck from the FLGS for the list price.

No, I don't think ts the case. The tarokka was released in 2003, and VRGttMists in 2005.

I guess it's simply a question of quantity printed. My FLGS had a few copies (well under five), while he got multiple copies of other RL releases.

I agree. The increase in price probably happened in the last two years. I got mine in 2007-2008 on eBay for about $10, I think, though I remember I posted a desperate "Please, do not bid, I'm trying to get it!" message in what is now the Marketplace thread.

Yes, I can be desperate and pathetic when I need to, and I'm not (too) ashamed of it
