Does Cirdan in fact know who Incabulos is? - I always took Darkon as a darker Greyhawk; maybe he has indeed heard a mention of this one is some context.

What about Norzak does he know who this person or what the word signifies?

Oh yeah, you guys have heard of him. He's not even obscure, within Darkon. He's one of the gods associated with The Eternal Order [a religion that has lost followers in the cities, but holds on among the country folk of Drakon].

If either of you follow the Eternal Order, or have ranks in knowledge : religion, you may know more.

How do you guys like the pacing of the campaign thus far? Too slow? Just right? Too fast?

It's been working out fairly well for me thus far, in terms of pacing. I would expect that things will pick up somewhat with exams behind us.

What are your characters doing over the next several days?
You have six days until the Summer Ball [which you don't have to attend, of course- although it would certainly be polite to go, since Denys is exerting his infleunce to secure invitations]. You are welcome guests at the Sancerre estate, so you can come and go as you please.

I ask because the action will be moving forward soon. I don't want yiou guys to be railroaded or miss out on enacting your plans.


Note about money/equipment : go ahead and give yourselves standard wealth by level- not including any items gained since the start of the adventure. If you ''buy'' any magic items, I'll need a little backstory before granting approval. Otherwise, it's pretty wide open. If you don't want to bother with buying equipment, don't. It's not priority- I just know many players like buying equipment and making lists [I do ].

I'm not certain that Bennedict has any particular plans for the next several days other than to more closely investigate the numerous loose ends that have piled up of late, notably the mirror, scroll, and key, as well as the dark stones that the kidnappers dropped, which it should be noted Norzak has not yet described to me. I'm not above trying the mirror again, or perhaps taking a shot at the incantation on the scroll as long as I can determine that it's not dangerous or going to turn me into a thrall of whoever this incabulos person is. Also it might not be a terrible idea to investigate the building where Sancerre found the stuff in the first place.

And of course, Benn will be in attendance for the ball.

Norzak will look at the dark stones in the morning. His plans for the next few days are simple. Rest as his trip from Darkon was long and arduous. HE wants to find that bakery as well. For the ball he wants to get a bath, shave his head and get a really nice earring. Maybe do something nice with his beard and inquire if there are any other dwarves in the city.

Very, very nice campaign until now. You give a lot of time for character development, which is very cool. My only problme is that I am so slow with answering these days, but I hope that will get better.
