Oh, and I have chosen to use your name of "Toxin" for the Blood + Positive domain. :)

Indeed. Well, I'm glad that you can use it. We can say we co-wrote that domain. Let's not forget to give a shout out to Rafael for the original idea of a firebug treant.

Toxin
Noxious Fumes
Cinder
Scab

I have a starter for noxious fumes.

For Toxin, I suggest we avoid anything that's too much like Borca.
Maybe the darklord was posioned, but is not himself a poisoner. Or perhaps he tried to commit suicide by pressing an asp to his breast? Was he pushed into a pit of scorpions? Maybe he hates poisoners, and kills them horribly? Dishonorable scum! He survived whatever happened to him, but perhaps been disfigured or crippled in some way? An undead darklord wouldn't really fit the 'positive energy' angle so well (and aren't you using a Deathless foryour Positive energy domain?). A toxin in the blood fits your 'positive+ blood' formula.

Posionous vermin or reptiles could be a serious, frequent threat in this domain. Bloodborne toxins, not ingested ones, fit the theme best, IMO.

Manofevil's burning city domain could have a gateway to the burning forest of 'Pyre', maybe in a city park?

Just a thought...

Any one of those could work, really. I agree that poisonous animals would make good enemies in the domain.

No, sorry for the confusion. I meant that the Mists might manifest as clouds of smoke in Pyre, and the gate in MoE's domain (if he likes) would be a smoke filled, burning grove.

Hey yeah I'm in guys. :D I was hoping it would still have a place. I just finished reediting it. And I really like the way Tindertwig turned out. If we wanted to neat about this, we could add the following paragraphs:

The chief's studies of large fires in large cities once took a very surreal turn. One of the firefighters he interviewed asked him if they could discuss it over drinks. Being from a rough and tumble family of firefighters, the chief was not above a beer or two, so they met at a firefighters bar and there, the chief heard the strangest story he'd ever heard even in a business full incredible stories.
When the firefighter was a boy, His father and uncles answered a call from the cities slums. Unbeknownst to them, the boy followed them out the recklessness of youth. They found themselves in the middle of an inferno. The boy watched in awe as his father, uncles, and other firefighters battled the blaze with grim determination, racing into the tenements time and again to help evacuating residents and keeping the hose trained on the roof in spite of the ashes and timbers raining down upon them. Suddenly, a rooftop whiskey still on top of a burning tenement building exploded, splitting the wall and raining burning debris down upon everything. Seeing a large piece about to land on his father, the boy charged forward and shoved his father out of the way with a flying tackle. When his father saw who had saved him, he didn't know whether to punish him for being there or thank him for saving his life. He never got the chance to decide. Everyone in the street could only stare in awe at what happened next. Down the street, roaring in agony, causing the ground beneath them to shake, came a burning, crashing, two-story-tall, TREE! It's upper branches all aflame, clearly the cause of its agony, and its lower trunk seemingly split into two trunks which moved like legs and carried it's great bulk down the street with great elephantine strides, leaving great footprints on the cobblestones. Somehow, no one was hurt by it, but neither could anyone do anything more than stop and stare as the thing raced past. Only after it had past and a large cracking sound came from one of the burning buildings were the firefighters reminded of what they were there for and returned to their task. The fire was finally put out and the firefighters returned home with the boy in tow. He was never punished nor congradulated for what he did that night. In fact, he almost never heard his father or uncles speak of it again. Once or twice, he would bring it up to one of them and they would scold him fiercely for what had to be the dumbest thing he had ever done. The boy was always so chagrined by their anger that he would never ask any further, until some years later when he broached the subject to his father. He bore his father's scolding stoicly and finally ask about the tree. His father then told him with both the wisdom of a father and a veteran firefighter that smoke and heat and ash in the eyes can play tricks on a man's mind, and if the boy intended to be a firefighter, he could expect to see many strange things on firegrounds. What his father didn't know, the firefighter told the chief, was that the boy had snuck out the next day and returned to the fireground, where again he saw the huge footprints in the cobblestones. The chief had heard other stories of the screaming tree that ran. Some said it had caused the fire. Others swore that it had saved them from the fire. The chief had considered them nothing but urban legend until he heard this firefighters story. It was something he wondered about even unto the day he died.

I figured that one out after I had already turned off my computer and was lying in bed.

Thinking about it some, I think that Toxin should be Blood + Negative instead of Blood + Positive. I think Scab should be Blood + Positive, as a Scab is something that is formed when a cut is healing.
