I think Benn takes the cake as the biggest lothario here, though. Ladies love a scholar!
Charlotte seemed to, anyways.

Tarlyn was refrring to this scene from my other game:
The first tavern Blaise finds can be located by means of the nose alone....it's sign is a dead fish [real, not a painting] nailed to a wooden board that hangs over the door.

Inside, the place smells slightly better than the sign. It's dimly lit, not very clean, and packed with the sort of men who'd stab you in the guts as soon as look at you, along with women who are for rent by the hour- and will also likely stab you in the guts. Even the servants look disreputable. Knives are worn openly, despite a sign that reads-

NO KNIVS IN HER

A toothless drab of forty-going-on-eighty approaches Blaise and attempts to give him a wet, gummy kiss.

''Gizza silver piece! Hehehehehehe...Magga make you happy!''

So, anybody else thinking this guy with the rings is a were hunter, or even better, a Werebear were hunter?

You are a very suspicious person.

True, but I still hope we've got a Chekhov's Werebear. http://tinyurl.com/yffcmel

Mostly it's all the silver and iron that made me wonder. That and the whole looking like a bear thing.

An amusing anecdote: I run a halloween D&D game every year, and this year I selected Ari Marmel's "Last Breaths of Ashenport," setting Ashenport as a sort of pocket domain in the Morent coastline. If you've read the adventure, you know that the party arrives during a "trade festival" with representatives of three other companies, a half elven woman and two human men, one of whom is not actually that wealthy and is sort of there trying to get his business started. Scrambling on the fly for cities for them to come from, I made the third man a native of our Pont-au-Museau, if only because it came to mind quickly because of this game. I played him as a jeweler who was looking to strike it rich in this town of bumpkins and who was somewhat haughtily amused at the concept that the party were "monster hunters." Well, in that one of my players is from Paridon, and the mixture of british plus french being roughly analogous to the mixture of oil and water, needless to say an incident occurred.

Later, they barely even tried to save him when Dagon called him out to the sea. Tragic.

I have also run last breath of Ashenport.

I hope you ran the 3.5 version.

A very good adventure. Have you tried to run "When Madness Followed" Dungeon 134. Have you seen the yellow sign?

That is a pretty good one too. So is Porphyry House of Horrors (dungeon 95)
