Roping across the fast- moving stream
So, Karim and Dorgio are handling the ropes, right? Rope use checks made by the lead man will have the aid another bonus of +2.
Now- how exactly will you get the rope's lead end fastened to something or someone on the far side of the stream? Is one of you going to attempt to swim or jump the stream, or do you haver some other plan?

Got it, assuming Karim has more experience with ropes, then Dorgio will do the aiding.
As far as the plan, I'm about to post Dorgio's idea IC.

Karim doesn't have any ranks in use rope actually, but is strong and has lighter armour than Franz that's why is better if he tries to jump at the opposite side.

Right, give me a jump roll. DC is 10 ( the stream isn't very wide, but the uneven terrain and the wet weather make a running start problematic.)
Don't forget to apply your armor check penalty.

What kind of armor does Karim have? Franz has chain shirt and most probably a better strength, jump and rope use? Sorry, was away from pc for the day so couldn't post. If Karims scores are better, by all means Van, go for it

Alain just volunteered. He's across, as is Wat.
Getting the animals across will be trickier. ANIMAL HANDLING CHECKS WILL BE NEEDED.

I'm removing my breastplate, which should take a minute or two. Don't have the book at the moment to look it up.

Rob told me to run Jon. Bad luck- he rolled a 2 for jump, then failed both his reflex save to grab the rope and a swim check. Brutal, and wholly unexpected! His odds of safely crossing were very good, otherwise I'd never have had him do it.

Tarlyn, give me two more swim checks, please.
Everybody else, what are you all doing? Holding that rope? Other things?

Karim will stay at his side for now holding the rope.
Tarlyn, Karim has chain shirt as well. Sorry I thought Franz had plate.

Chain is lighter and easier to manouever in
Pretty much same AC advantages for a fighter too
