Well not exactly the same AC! The chain shirt give +4 and the plate +8.

I got chain shirt because Karim is from Pharazia and needed a light armour there with plate he would have problem with the hot weather there.

Must have taken it because it is lighter and easier to remove/put on.

If it's not too soon to make jokes about it, should JRMartyr's character die,
I hereby officially allow him to have his next one be accompanied by a retarded monkey named Rafael who is constantly playing with his own poo.

I'm assuming Karim will indeed follow and help Franz. If that's a bad assumption, let me know and I'll fix it, Van.

Anyone else wishing to descend the cliff may make a climb roll, DC 15 (the rock is eroded and weathered enough for numerous footholds- but the rain makes things trickier). Rapelling with a rope is the fastest way, well, other than the way Jon took. There is also the option of going the long way round, moving through rocky slopes and switchbacks, if speed is not a concern.

Other than Franz, is anybody going down to where Jon is laid out?

Posted. Franz is doing what he thinks is best for Jon given he does have some battle experience and has probably seen a doctor or healer take care of the wounded.

Of course Karim is following and helping Franz.

Okey-dokey-

Are Dorgio and Benn going down the cliff-face, or will Jon be hauled up?

What is everyone doing once the healers get to Jon, or Jon is brought to the healers?

Note- the lower elevation where Franz and Jon are right now is in an area off the trail, and none of you have explored it before.

Maybe is better if the healers go down to Jon, we don't know how serious is the wound so maybe don't move him till healed.

They can use Dofur's or Franz's rope and do rapel.

I'll wait until Brock gets a chance to post.

Just posted, Dorgio's going to try to rapel down. Ewan, was that climb check DC you posted the same DC for rappelling?

Hmmm...unknotted rope? It's the same. Of course if you have 5 or more ranks in rope use, you get a +2 bonus. Oh, and you can get an aid another bonus of an additional +2 if Karim and Dofur help.

Okay, I got a base roll of 19 (http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/search/599780). If armor check penalties apply, then that knocks it down to a 13. If Dofur & Karim are helping with the rope, then that would give me either a 21 or a 15, depending on whether the armor penalty applies.

Karim will help Dorgio of course
