All the PC hear the howling and ruckus from the rock 'maze.' No one outside the area of jumbled rock formations can see what's going on with Benn and the elf.

Actions?

Franz is heading into the unknown, so to speak. Given our past with the wolf beasties, if Dorgio is with Franz then the Falkovnian will ask for magic weapon in his own words. He wants to be prepared at best for the wolf beastie enemies.

Good roll- you actually made it.

Now seems like a good time to ask everyone to roll initiative. Surprise rounds are over, normal combat is ensuing.

Jon is still on autopilot, until Jmatyr gets back online.

I will adjudicate the cause fear situation first, of course.

The attempt to Cause fear is a no go. Benn will no doubt realize this pretty quickly- the monster seems totally unaffected, even unaware of the spell.

16 Init for Alain . He will Cast an Orb of Acid, lesser at the one attacking the Elf, when he gets within 30 feet . But if both Demon-wolves are within 5 feet of each other he will instead cast Hail of Stone to catch them both in the Spells Area of effect . On the way their he will pull out a Silver Dagger to defend himself with .

Rarim will try to flank with Jon.

HR: silver short sword: natural 20! confirm 21, if hits: DR: 9

left hand: 12, doubt this hit so I don't roll DR.

I suppose Karim has still the -4 penalty at HR with both hands even if he fights with scimitar/short sword. If no then my HR is 23 and 14.

I have put the +2 bonus to both HR from flank, if Karim cannot flank adjust it Ewan.

All noted , rolled, adjudicated, etc. Round two, guys. Give me your actions and rolls for ROUND TWO, and I'll write it up.

Turnskin # 1 will be attacking Franz.

Turnskin # 2 will be attacking Jon.

Keep in mind that there are two melees- inside the rock formation, and without. Cover and concealment prevents those inside from seeing what Jon and Karim are up to,and vice-versa. Of course, loud talking/shouting will enable hasty communcations.
