I'm following behind the prisoner, far enough back that my crossbow is out of reach in case he gets any funny ideas.

Okay, just to clarify: Norzak is in the tunnel, as is the prisoner. Something is in the water ahead of them. The rest of you are near the entrance of the rightside tunnel[ unless you'd like to move, naturally].
The stranger with the glowing spear is coming down from the far end of the tunnel in question, so he is facing Norzak and the party. He is still about 60 feet away.

The water in the tunnel is deeper in some spots than others, suggesting an uneven floor. It is three feet deep where Norzak is standing, but shallower towards the ends of the tunnel.

Everyone will hear the scream, naturally. The area is illuminated well enough that everyone can see Norzak has stabbed something. Getting a little closer wil show you exactly what it is.

If it seems like I'm coming down harshly on Norzak, it's in character not out. Given that the dwarf has now caused two informants to fall to their death mid-interrogation and has now stabbed a little girl, I think the irritation is warranted on Benn's part.

To be fair to poor old Norzak, he was a bit freaked out by the thing under the tarp. It could have been something nasty.

Of course, everyone's PCs should react in character. Each of the PCs will doubtless have his own interpretation of events. That's one of the fun things about roleplaying games.

Well, that's certainly not what I expected to happen.

Of course, from Dorgio's perspective, he's just stumbled on a group who obviously has somebody tied up and whom have just stabbed the child he was sent to rescue. As it stands, it may be very likely that Dorgio will attack the group (or at least Norzak), especially if the girl is dead. If she's just severely wounded, he may be willing to listen to Benn, though.

Also, Raphael, does Cirdan have anything that would obviously mark him as a member of the Eternal Order?

If you had been with Norzak as long as us, it wouldn't surprise you.

Does Father Dorgio have on anything to indicate his specific sect, Knowledge Religion 24. The more specific the better.

Oh no, that's totally what I expected Norzak to do. I just wasn't expecting the thing under the tarp to be the girl. I should have been, though!

Adam, Dorgio has a tattoo of a sunrise on his left hand and the Morninglord's symbol hanging from his belt, so it should be no problem for Benn to confirm Dorgio's faith. He's not wearing anything that would suggest he's very high up on the totem pole. If Benn is really on his toes, he might notice that the tattoo is similar to the depiction of sunrises in certain Gundarakite branches of the cult.

While Benn and Norzak are talking, Dorgio's trying to tell whether or not they're bluffing (Sense Motive Roll: 19).

Is the puppy still near where Anja was laying?

Yes, the puppy is still in the immediate vicinity of the girl. It is unhurt.
