For what it's worth, despite however Dorgio feels IC, OOC I hope we get a chance to whoop up on Marius.

Franz needs a booty call I thinks!

Joking aside, have you read anything by James Ellroy, Tarlyn? It just occurred to me that your PCs remind me of some of Ellroy's main characters, especially in LA Confidential and The Black Dahlia. Either way, they're good reads, especially if you like noir.

Okay, gotta run to the lab now, will update IC later today.

Hehe, an unexpected turn in my plan lets me postpone the travelling until labor day. :)

BTW, since I commented on it in another thread, you might want to take a look at this series here:

Anime, sure, but pure Ravenloft.

I figured you'd like that. Having an outlander in the party is fun.

Note to ALL players-

Let me know what your PC is doing now. RocEtr, your dude is still on his solo quest, but you'll see that I have not forgotten to update for you.
The rest of you-

Are you going to meet Tileara at her shop before dark, as requested?

Are your PCs doing anything else this afternoon? Resting? Shopping? Checking in with Alain about the inventory? Fleeing town? Getting into more fights with the locals? Tracking down that elf trader and asking him about his wares, as Brock had suggested Dorgio would do if given the chance?

Just let me know. If it is all stuff that can be handled in a gloss, and no one objects, I can 'fast forward' to a scene at Tileara's shop. As usual, I want to consult you guys so as to avoid railroading.

"Buy Nothing" and Chill Out Day for Dofur, unless the others have something important to do and require his company. :)

Dorgio's going to ask around about passage up the Musarde, and then see if he can find some kind of messenger or courier service. It'd probably be a good idea to let Sancerre know we're on our way, especially since we've got a penchant for getting sidetracked.

By the way, how much would people from outside of Darkon or Falkovnia know about the Dead Man's Campaign?

You've heard tales of suicidal -or heroic, if you actually like Falkovnia- battles against hordes of zombies and walking skeletons. Some 'sophisticated' folks say that stuff is all just Darkonese propaganda, and that the 'zombies' are just peasants in make-up who like to put a good scare into ignorant, superstition -ridden Falkovnian cow-thieves. Other people claim it's all real, and that Darkon is ruled by evil necromancers.

Falkovnians are widely regarded as just a bunch of hick farmers or bullying thugs-in-armor. Humorously enough, many people have trouble telling the Falkovnian accent apart from Lamordian, leading some less geographically astute individuals to confuse citizens of the two very different nations.

You may know more if you have ranks in Knowledge skills: history, geography, nobility/royalty.

Benn really has not a whole lot to do at this juncture, so I guess I'll continue assisting Dorgio as well as I can without actually being able to speak the local parlance.

I presume Rufus will find Franz and give him the salve. Franz will pay back whomever paid for his fine but is not very talkative, in fact he will go have a bath first, eat a meal in his room then head for the apothecary with the others to see Tileara.

...Which might utterly disturb Dofur, since the smell of soap is reviled in his country! Doesn't Franz know that dirt protects against all kinds of diseases, and even the dread curses of DEMONS?!
