Question: Would the dead Capt's niform be any different than, say, Gustav's?

What I mean is do ranks mean you have a difft uniform?

The Falkovnian officers have rather fancier uniforms: silver buttons, piping, etc.

So, yes, the Captain's stolen unifrom would would look different from what Gustav is wearing.

Well I know that this wasn't the most bold thing to do, but Karim is alone and has heard about the slasher and what he does. So will not risk an encounter with him.
