HE is the one who cut the soles off of Tileara. I have a strong feeling about it. And Franz had a horseshoe up his butt
to not have the same thing happen to him.

Okay, a little googling shows me that the Cobbler's a character in Spectre of the Black Rose, but I'm having a hard time finding more than that. Just curious, who's the Cobbler, and why do you think plague guy was him?
I haven't read the book in ages, but if you do I am sure you'll have the same gut feeling I do about that situation ;)

If the doctor and Renault travel with Van Diecks then we should look for 3 men and not 1 and if one of them is a vampire we should look for a coffin in the boat. If we find it then we will have our boat :)

I agree that it's a good idea to keep an eye out for The Doc and Renault. Dorgio gave the guards descriptions of both, just in case.

I'm not sure if Renault uses a coffin or not. I finally remembered that he's called a "draugr". IIRC, he drains ability points instead of blood or levels, but I don't know about any other differences between draugr and regular vamps. Either way, we should be prepared when we board the Virago.

I don't know them. They drain 1d6 of all abilities or is random which one they will drain.

And IC does Dorgio knows that Renault is this special vampire or he thinks is a normal one?

Guess all this time we spent together he has said the party about these villains, if no it's better to tell us before we get to the boat (if we manage to catch it of course).

And welcome back Raf! Gtats for Spain's victory they had great team indeed.

I'm not sure what ability they drain or how much. (It might have been constitution, but I'm not sure. Raf may know; I think Renault drained his PC once). I think Ewan cooked up the stats himself. So we really don't know too much about it IC or OOC. I'm pretty sure they don't like fire. In character, we do know that he's not a typical vampire, IIRC, thanks to Benn's "forbidden knowledge."

Dorgio would have very likely explained all this to Karim at some point on the trip.

Forgot to mention I'm out of town all this week. Turn Benn into an NPC until I return, please.
"Of course," Benn mutters, "It would be a damned shame if we ever knew what the hell was actually going on."

Is everybody in agreement with Benn, Karim, and Dorgio about getting aboard the Marot's Pride and pursuing the killer downriver?
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.
