Before going to Sancerre's Dorgio will give John directions to his house, along with a note (scrawled in both Mordentish and Luktar) briefly explaining who John is, just in case Dorgio's countrymen get curious.

Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.

Or John will make a new friend................
Indeed.

So far as you know you are the only one with full clerical spell abilities. The others are more like acolytes and laymen with religious vocations. Spellcasting clerics are not necessarilly so common. Sometimes an itenerant priest with real powers would come through, of course. It is a big city and magic of various sorts is respected and generally tolerated in Richemulot.

Got it. Great, like Dorgio didn't have enough to feel guilty about! I've gotta make sure I tread the fine line between "tortured hero" and "unwitting Drizzt parody"

History prefers legends to men. It prefers nobility to brutality, soaring speeches to quiet deeds. History remembers the battle and forgets the blood. What ever history remembers of me if it remembers me at all, it shall only be the fraction of the truth.
