Indeed though I think this is the first time i've bought over seas so, it will be interesting seeing how long it takes a package to get from one place to another!
(excited)
Re: MARKET PLACE: Ravenloft's interesting auctions and links
I've done some small package shipping to the United Kingdom before. It has taken up to a month or more. But it really depends on where you ship and how. UPS may have more package going to London than the US Postal Service, for example. Hopefully, you'll get lucky and it won't take long at all.

Lol. No problem! Glad I could be of assistance. I can't seem to find one for anything approximating a reasonable price, so I may just have one made.

Yeah, indeed that is the problem. xD
Re: MARKET PLACE: Ravenloft's interesting auctions and links
I've bought from UK before and it took less than two weeks.
Re: MARKET PLACE: Ravenloft's interesting auctions and links
I have had experience with shipping from the UK, and it took about two weeks. My experience was purchasing from a company rather than a private party, though. I don't know if that helps or not. Congratulations on your big score!

There's a Ravenloft Red Box for sale at Bizarro World in Davis, CA; anyone interested can contact me and I can find out cost (and calculate shipping).

Here is an EBay link to the rare Strahd Cardboard stand up promotion for the I Strahd novel. The seller had 3 available. I picked up one just for fun to add to my got-to-have-it-all-nearly got everything ever made-Ravenloft collection. (Rubs hands and cackles with glee.) I know some of you might be crazy as I, so here is your chance at a super rare item. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RAVENLOFT-Vampi ... 416e447f94
As of today there is two available and 17 days left of buy it now.
Here is the Mausoleum entry by Catman Jim who describes this rarity and claims Gonzoron bought one for the killer price of 6 dollars.

I have no ties to the seller what so ever and even though I was exceedingly pleased to get mine the sad fact is I paid a grundle for a piece of cardboard. I got ripped. But I still love it. I'm sure the seller is a fine upstanding person (who I have never met but took my money and gave me this treasure and probably laughed at my mania all the way to the bank)

Yup, this seller apparently has been hoarding a bunch of them all this time, and decided the time was right to reap the rewards from crazy collectors like us. (Or perhaps recently stumbled on a treasure trove of them in some storage unit or attic or something.) She's sold several over the past few months. Jester, Joel, and Catman Jim all picked one up. (see pages 21-23 of this very thread). But none for my bargain price. (yes, $6, for realz.

Wow, 19 RL novels for 32 $! Quite a deal, for those without them.
