2nd round update-

Gal hath gone- he just killed/incapacitated a gendarme

The wolf has gone- killed a gendarme.


Of the six gendarmes who were assigned to protect the house- the elf and his wolf have now killed or severely injured three.

One is grappling with Thora.

One is duelling Dofur.

One is free to act- and he looks ready to attack Galandel.

Anybody shooting into the cramped foyer is effectively shooting into melee. Yes, Galandel's precise shot helps him.


Actions for the rest of you?

Tarlyn, is Thora continuing to grapple?

Three.

One is wrestling Thora- no weapons involved.

One, with a sword out, is advancing a few feet to strike at Galandel.


The the other three are either dead or badly wounded and out of action.

Intimidation isn't exactly Benn's strong suit, but I'm trying one more time for reason. If it fails, I guess I'll be pulling on what resources I have to cover up the murder of five gendarmes.

Due to this recent unforeseen drama, the campaign cannot end in the tenth chapter. We will therfore have to have an 11th chapter. I will post a brief interlude/cutscene, and then post the new chapter. .

Thora frowns at Dofur's odd reaction, then shrugs. Walking over to the young lady Evie, she smiles reassuringly at her. "Uh, listen miss. I be really sorry bout me actions. Their friends did this to me and riled up me blood a lil. I sometimes tend to get carried away when I gets attacked and near burnt if ye can see me injuries. I would juss like ter apologize for me actions ma'am. If I offended ya I is sorry. We did obtain important information from them, however. I will tell you what.

Thora admitted to doing something unpleasant during the interrogation. Whatever it was, it shocked or offended Evie, and Thora apologized for that. Thora claims to be Norzak's sister. Norzak was known for his violent and antisocial behavior. On several occasions Jon and Dorgio witnessed him bully, abuse, and even torture prisoners. He cut of a man's finger. Thora looks and acts very much like a female Norzak.

It's not a stretch for Jon to assume that there was torture- or for Dorgio to assume it.
