OOC- even a human PC would likely have been convicted. Nobody denied that Gal shot Captain LeClerc while resisting arrest. One cannot kill three cops in front of multiple witnesses and expect to escape punishment- unless there's bribery or corruption involved.

Now, being an elf didn't really help.

Ok I have a crazy idea, but cannot help to post it How much Charisma has Galandiel? Because if has high enough maybe become a pretty cool ghost! Because he will be hanged with feelings of frustration, anger, delusion and maybe betrayal since he was there to help humans and they hanged him. Plus the death of his animal companion in front of him and the agony of what will happen to his wife now, what the gendarmes might do to her. These feelings are pretty strong I guess and since we are in RL a ghost might be an idea.

Maybe the party will be attacked by the evil elf-ghost in a later adventure. After all, they betrayed him to his doom! We all know that you guys cut a deal to get off scot-free and let the elf hang.

Our party's shaping up to have quite the elven ghost infestation.

John would like to speak with everyone first about Denys wishes. If not, then this looks a lot like another game I played in where ewan was the DM and Lord Skybolt and Van were players too.

So is Galandel getting let back to the Sancerre house to see his wife? Dorgio's sticking with Galandel until the execution, and if they're not going to Sancerre's, then he'll dispatch a message to them, letting them know what happened.
