I would worry about my availability. I have something going on most evenings. The nice thing about PbP being the freedom to put something up whenever people feel they have time to do so. However, if people wish to give it a go, I'll see what I can come up with.

In any of Benn's recollections about Incabulos cults, did Druagrs ever come up as being associated with them? Something about all of this isn't adding up yet. Inquiring minds want to know.

BTW: I'm not going to go look up the stat block, if for no other reason than that it's kind of refreshing fighting a monster I don't know the strengths and weaknesses of off the top of my head, but you'll have to let me know if you created this Druagr monster yourself or if it's in one of the monster manuals or denizens of darkness or something. I did a quick google search on them, saw that they come from Norse mythology and were probably the inspiration for Tolkein's Barrow Wights which, in turn, Gygax used as his own inspiration for D&D's Wights. So sort of an interesting aside there. In any case, very cool.

And yeah, I'm sure he's dead. This is my beleiving face.

Ewan, a chat session might be fun, but I'm not sure what my schedule's going to look like once the next academic quarter starts. Ah, the joys of grad school! I'm interested in the chat session, though, and if we can find a time that accommodates all of us, that'd be cool.

Quick clarification, Dorgio was asking the "fresh" question to the wounded thug, not Norzak. I worded that kind of ambiguously, sorry.

Hey I know that, but Norzak doesn't. "n" What Benn said about Norzak is close to Norzak. I just love playing the dwarf this way and wont stop

Ah, okay Tarlyn, just wanted to make sure there weren't any OOC misunderstandings. I'm frankly loving the building animosity. Hell, if the situation were just a little different, Dorgio might even be cheering Norzak on. Sometimes awesome conflict can come from two people who are too similar to each other to admit it!

I am roleplaying him to the max. There are absoultely no hard feelings at all. That's what roleplaying is about, isn't it?

Incabulos did have some undead servants, but you don't recall that druagr were especially noted among them. Festering plague zombies and nightmarish wraiths seem to have been more his style. Still, there may be some association you are missing....

Yes, I was inspired in part by the Norse mythology and Tolkien's Barrow-Wights, hence the name. You won't find stats in any official books- I wrote up my own version of the critter. Naturally, I'll be keeping that mysterious for now.

So, friends, time to say goodbye for me, as it seems.

- As you all might already know, I am leaving for Spain this weekend,
and won't be near an internet-able PC until the last week of September.

I might be able to post a few times more, but I prefer to bow out a bit earlier,
instead of right before I have to leave. Ewan, please take over good Cirdan,
and guide him to find his Evangeline!

I have no idea if the game will still be around when I come back (the scene feels much like a climax to me) , but I'd absolutely love to continue playing with you all!

Ewan, it has been a great run so far, one of the nicest Ravenloft games I have participated in, also in great part to the way you my comrades fill your characters with life!
