Your only condolence is that you can eat as much cake as you want, piling on the pounds, without ever worrying about obesity ending your life.

I wish the Kargatane would reveal the true and complete story arc of the Gazetteers and in particular that Steve Miller would stop claiming that it involves waffles.

Granted! They reveal that Azalin's grand plot was twofold: to pull Carrot Top into the Mists and annoy the Dark Powers until they let Azalin go, and to transform Strahd into a Keebler Elf before escaping back to Oerth.

I wish there was some say the Potter movies could still be a reasonable length without cutting so much of the books out.

Granted, the books change to cover only the parts taht were in the movies. Now nothing is cut from the books when they make the movies, only because the parts you wanted to see never existed.

Granted, your new group never wants you to run Ravenloft - in fact, no group you ever again encounter is willing to play in Ravenloft; thus giving you an endless ammount of freedom to finish your writing ... on a setting you'll never again get to run.

Granted. You now draw comics perfectly and quickly. Unfortunately, the only comic you can draw this well is a perfect re-creation of old "Ziggy" cartoons, and you simultaneously acquire a reputation for being cheesy and are sued for copyright infringement by the "Ziggy" character's legal owner.

I wish the administration at my work didn't hold so many pointless faculty meetings, especially when I should be getting ready for the new semester instead.

Granted. Your whole gaming group is swept up into Ravenloft, and your players bewail the fact they're not just sitting around a table playing out the scene, as terrifying monsters close in on you from all sides. No need to prepare an adventure, because you're in one.

Granted, all memory of this saturday is wiped from your mind, you have absolutely no recall of it whatsoever. Considernig the number of wanted posters and breaking news reports you've seen today, however, it would seem the day wasn't wasted ... now you just have to hide until this all blows over ... it will blow over, right?
