Listening at the next door reveals what? Check at 22 does it him any clue to whats going on in the next room, and even if it does not he is going to search this room first, keeping a lookout/listen if someone is about come during his perusal of the room. And if I did not need to mention this he tries to be quiet in once over of any place he is searching.

I rolled for you, and niether Norzak nor Alain think they made any noise that could be heard in the next room. You were both pretty quiet.

Oh, and by the way Alain always relays information he finds out to Norzak if he did not hear/see the same info as Alain found out in scouting along in search of anything/anywhere we are scouting together . It's good for us to cross check/verify info to each other .

We're doing some breaking and entering. It's probably good Cirdan isn't here.

I've begun to update the Characters thread.

I got nothing constructive to add. Brother Willen can lead me around, and if I come up with something I'll post it. Otherwise I'm nodding and pretending like I'm interested.

SO no chance we can open the lock before the people arrive? We have the choice of going up the other stairs? yeah I think we can move on as we now know or think we do where the needed books are!

Well, hanging around to open the lock may very well get you caught. Those three [or perhaps more...] people will be in the room in a few minutes at most.
