Weird Headcanons Thread

Not really headcanon but I had been tinkering with ways to include Tinker Gnomes in Ravenloft without being too out of tone of the setting.

The best way I have thought up so far is having them be off-shoots of the Fir. They would be to the Fir what Elves are to the other Fey. Perhaps a group of Fir tired of having to avoid the sunlight and found way to turn themselves into normal mortals, but they retained their love of clockwork, their Fir ancestry conflicting with their now normal mortal bodies makes them manic tinkers.

I have also thought of including a "Gully Dwarf" like Caliban race in Nosos. Very short lived (20) but completely immune to all diseases (including Supernatural diseases like Lycanthropy) and toxins.

Gully Dwarves in Nosos is actually a fantastic idea, so much so I’m surprised I’ve never seen or heard it before.

You might have the tinker gnomes cursed to build devices that actually work and actually hurt people they’re supposed to help and help people they’re supposed to hurt. You also might have their beards falling out. They have a beard complex similar to dwarfs.
