Café de Nuit

As it seems several of the PCs will soon be going out for food, I will post a scene for that. If your PC is doing something else, let me know about it here in the OOC thread [or by PM if it is secret, but stil post here to let people know your dude isn't with the party]. Okay. Post will be up in a few minutes. Let's move forward...

A reminder- there are several places you guys have been [some of you, anyway] to eat. You could return to visit one of those, possibly. Of course, there are other options.


Brom's Boulangerie is a bakery of some reknown. The onwer is a nain- the local term for a dwarf. He bakes both dwarven and local styles of bread, pastries etc. While not a full restaurant, it's an excellent place to stop of for baked goods and gossip in the tightly knit Dwarven community of the city. Norzak has eaten food from here, and so has Evanegline.

Odall's Eats is a small sidewalk cafe in the River Quarter. Norzak and Sir Cirdan have eaten there before, and the food was pretty good. They serve Arkandaler cuisine.

The Sign of the Two Goats is a somewhat shady tavern. They serve food. It's in walking distance of the Ghost Streets- the abandoned part of town. Renault used to hang out here. This is where the heroes initially confronted him [when he was still alive].

The Brass Bees you all know from recent posts.

There are also numerous native style public houses and eateries which cater to the tradesmen and laborers of the city. A man can eat a good cheap meal in a public house, and have some booze to chase it down for a little more.

Fancy restaurants are less common, because the wealthier folk tend to eat at home, or visist one another's hosues for meals [and gossip]. [/b]

As I don't have a map of where we are it's hard give a definable search pattern with out a map to go by, but he would go to bars/eateries to also gather intel on their objectives .

Getting a map of the city [not every street labelled, but somethuing basic] is pretty much a must have at this point. I've got a crude hand drawn map skteched out...need to scan it. Maybe someone wants to help the DM with fixing it up first?

Jonathan asks mostly females during his info gathering using combos of diplomacy and bluff.

Norzak won't say anything unless he sees a bruised woman or the such. If that's the case he'll try to find out if it was Van Dieks or not.

Same here. How's Two Goats sound? We might be able to find a lead while we're at it.

So if I get this straight and ewan as well, Jon and Norzak are in the area with the ladies of the evening, and the three others are eating at the Goat's Head?

As I understand it:

Alain is actually out and about in the River Quarter, but not really with Jon or Norzak. He's collecting info. Jon is going to see the brothel. Dorgio and Benn are going to eat [probably at the Sign of the Two Goats- but we've yet to hear from Adam on that count].

What exactly is Norzak doing? Just tagging along behind Jonathon, to make he he's alright if there is trouble?


In any case, I'm going to start posting real updates agains tomorrow night.

Okay, DM power time. In the interests of the game moving on, I shall make a series of assumptions. Please feel free to correct me if I have assumed things about your PCs' actions that you all don't feel to be correct. I can always edit.

I am posting three new scenes now:

The Lorelei- Jon, and Norzak [ presumably Norzak has attempted to dsiguise himself in some way or is being nseaky]

The streets of the river quarter: Alain

The Sign of the Two Goats; the rest of you guys
