Random question, and pardon if it's been asked before, but what program do you use for the text and the black fill?

I use an open source version of paint, and the font I use for the text is 'Dickens Script', one of the Undead Sea Scrolls fonts on this site.
That brings up an interesting possibility, would you guys like it if I scanned and showed the multiple steps of making a page?

I suspect that our dear artist has been bogged down between his AN commissions and the usual student summer work schedule.

So, if no one can confirm the comic is over, can they at least confirm the Phantom is

Dead tired maybe.
Nick is quite alive and well, I see him with regularity around the University now. On top of it being his senior year(s) in school not unlike my own, he's managed to find a wonderful girlfriend that also goes to our school which is keeping him busy.
