If Alain can cast another spell at Van Diecks before he gets out of sight ? He'll throw a Or A Ls if he is within 30 ft. or less range . Attack roll of 16 at Touch AC . If it hit's he takes 17 points of acid damage . If Alain can't cast before it goes out of sight, then he still does what is posted anyway, and if he can then he does it before what is posted .

Alain can hear him running away, but cannot see him without at least sticking his head down the hole.

Alain take a copper piece out and Casts Light on it and drops it down the manhole, as it drops down he takes a good hard look for everything around the source of the light . Also the latter down into sewers.

Any sort of knowledge checks to find out what's going on with this girl?

To clarify where everybody is-

Cirdan is hunting Van Diecks in the sewers.

Dorgio, Benn, and Alain are all upsatirs in the Lorelei, near or in Marie's room [Alain just arrived].

Jon is elsewhere [actually on his way to the office, but you guys don't know that bit], but none of you others know exactly where. The boy looked hurt when Alain saw him last - PERHAPS VERY BADLY HURT.

Alain is waiting on the reply from Benn/Dorgio about taking Marie back to Office.

Norzak is with the others. He will tie up the thug.

Rolled a 20 on Arcana, 11 on Religion

Okay guys, here's the deal:

I'm gone Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Three day battle assembly. With luck, I'll be back at a decent hour Sunday night. There won't be ANY updates or communication from me during this period of time.

We aren't yet at the end of chapter 2, so I won't formally suspend things. If you all end up together someplace, you can always roleplay some character interaction. Questioning priosners, further investigation, etc will need to wait for Sunday night, when I return and update the thread. Of course, let's wait and see what the party memebrs end up doing,eh?

Now is he the only one interested in the remaining thug, cause if he is that's fine, he'll attempt to drag him outside and somehow get him to the office.

Does anyone object if I move thinsg along by shifting scene to the office? It looks as if everyone is headed back there. We may assume you all had time for a quick sweep of the building, using magic if you like- the three missing artifacts don't turn up here. The gendarmes are coming....

I'll post an office scene, and you may assume your characters arrive in whatever order you like. Jon will still be there, badly injured and resting, when his friends arrive. The boy nearly died! Querstioning the thug, who's unconscious now and badly injured, will have to wait till I get back Sunday evening. You guys will have all weekend to chat out of character,plan in character,etc. Sound good?
