Mistmaster's Errata QtR 26
Posted: Thu Nov 07, 2019 6:45 pm
I have realized I have made at least 2 conspiquous omissions in my QtR articles, mea culpa.
First one is in Lazendrak Article; At the Paragraph on The Organizations, page 143 you find the Bloodkinghts, I omitted the dread possibility "The Shadow of Kanchelsis:the Order has been infiltrated by a small cadre of anti-paladin simulators, cultists of Kanchelsis, which want to use the order as a cover for theyr athocities" Since Kanchelsis is never mentioned again save for his descriptio in the Religion paragraph, this is in my hopinion an important part.
Second one is in Mordent(shire) article, where on page 168, in the paragraph on the late Lady Margarte Scottmatter, I mention the Bard Archetype of the Visual Artist which I have invented but then I omitted to explain:
Visual Artist ( Bard Archetype)
The Visual Artist channel his inspiration in different Arts then the performing ones;
Bardic Craft: The Visual Artist can use his hands to realize works of true beauty and use them in several supernatural ways.
Skill Points:8+Int Modifier.
Armour Proficiencies: a Visual artist is not proficient in any armour. (This modifies the Bard Armour Proficiencies)
Every morning a Visual Artist can make a Craft Check (Painting, Woodcarving, Sketching, Drawing, Stonecarving or similar) DC 15+1/2 class level; with a success it create a number of Bardic Items = to 3+1/2 the Visual Artist levels; with a failure it creates 1 item less, with a failure by 5 or more 2 item less, with a success of 10 or more 1 irem more. If the item has an effect witch requires a ST the DC is equal to the creation check (-2 for a failure, -5 for a major failure, +5 for a major success-10 for a natural 1, +10 for a natural 20)
Each created item can be used once to grant one of the Bard Performance effects available to a Bard of his level for 3 rounds+Int Mod+1/2 Visual Artist level except for Countersong) The effect granting bonuses affect every person who spend a minute to contemplate the item. The effect last up to a minute x Visual Artist Level; Instead then Countersong, he can create a Calming Item who gives a +4 bonus against any Emotion Based effect). The effects which affect enemies works instantly showing them the item, as long they are able to see it and they are in a 30 feet radius. This modify the Bardic Performance ability. Bardic Craft allow access to any feat with the Bardic Performance prerequisite.
Bonus Feats:At 2 Level and any 4 level thereafter a Visual Artist gain an Item Creation Feat as a bonus feat; she needs to meet the prerequisites for the feats. This substitutes the Versatile Performance ability.
Well-Versed: the bonus of the well versed ability applies against Sight-Dependent effects like gazes, glamer and sight-based figments. This modify the Well-Versed ability.
Spells:the Visual Artist Bard Spellcasting Ability is Intelligence. A Visual Artist Bard needs to wield his craft tool as Arcane Focus in one hand to be able to cast spells. It can apply any Metamagic feat to them.
