My group is in Barovia as we are in Curse of Strahd 5th edition. I have been under a rock, for I found out tonight that Barovia is a small part of a larger land. I didnt know where to bring my group if or when they fight and kill Strahd, but finding out about Azalin,I was wondering which module should I get first for inspiration and has anything been updated to 5th edition? I'm completely in the dark here and I love curse of strahd and would love to keep my group in the land. I just dont know where to start. Any and all help is appreciated.

Yes there is an update for ravenloft its on the DM guild, please see the following links:

https://www.dmsguild.com/product/278550 ... oft-BUNDLE

https://www.dmsguild.com/product/321149 ... -Ravenloft

But i would supplement them with the excellent Gazetteer series from the third edition for greater depth (unfortunately these are currently out of print)

Ravenloft was rebooted from the ground up for 5e and lost pretty much everything that came before. It's back to just Strahd and Barovia now. Everything Ravenloft for 5e outside Barovia is a fan reboot/creation.

I have also done a statblock and reboot for Azalin and Darkon for 5e on this forum, but I have taken considerably more liberties with the canon because I prefer Curse of Strahd's style more than the earlier editions' way. See my thread index: http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/foru ... =1&t=10463

I second Doomsday Gazetteer #2 and the Bleak House for the background of Martira Bay, but honestly you can do your own thing.

I think they're available on Drivethrurpg.

I picked up the Heroes of the Mists 5E conversion from the DMs Guild the other day. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking.

When I sold my 3E material I decided to keep the 5 Gazeteers. Wow am I glad that I did. There are few books that I’ve used more over the years. I’m not sure what they sell for second hand but if you can find a copy in your price range I would recommend them.

Are there rules/guidelines for Reality Wrinkles in 5E somewhere? I’m wondering if I missed them.

It should have been in Children of the Nights. But, honestly, since I didn't do a "devils" or "demons" entry like I did for vampires and werebeasts I didn't end up touching on their salient or land powers.

For a game like 5e, reality wrinkles wouldn't need much in the way of rules. It's basically an atmospheric/ story event. It's covered by the descriptions in the 2e and 3e books.
Thinking on it now, it would have been possible to add regional effects that travel with fiends, which would have been a cool idea. Sad I didn't think of it at the time...

That's the trouble with publishing and writing. There's always a new idea you could have/ should have added.
