Anyone familiar with Complete Divine?

Hello all! I'm new to the forums (Kargatane refugee, actually ^_^). Pleasure to meet you all. Now, to business: I'm just now starting up a new Ravenloft campaign. Always a good thing. (I've DMed Ravenloft several times, but not with this group) My PCs are vetrans to standard D&D, but newbies to the Ravenloft setting. One of my PCs wants to run a Morninglord cleric (all well and good), but I'm stumped on one of his questions. From Defenders of the Faith (and reprinted with small tweaks in Complete Divine), he wants to pick up the Sacred Exorcist prestige class. Honestly, it's a cool prestige class; it could be very useful--but it obviously needs moderate to heavy editing to make it appropriate for the Ravenloft setting. So, any thoughts? Or would it be just too much editing?

Thanks.

I think the Sacred Exorcist in the Complete Divine book is fine as it is. They would lose the detect evil ability, but that's about it. All of the other abilities of the Sacret Exorcist (like dispel evil)are only slightly alerted as indicated in the Ravenloft Core Rules or Player's Guide.

Why do you think it needs heavy editing? The PrC itself is not that powerful. It's main ability - Exorcising things - applies only to a very limited encounter type.

I have all four "COMPLETE" modules at home. Except for the really specific PrC's (such as the Tomb raider of Olidammara or something like that), they all seem okay for RL play. :)

Well, I was a bit concerned more about the whole Consencrated Presence ability--would that be like the big illuminated sign of "Please eat me" to monsters? Darklords, especially. How d'you think that'd work? Would it be any worse than a paladin's general aura if 'good'? (for lack of a better term)

Here's what I've worked out in my conversion of Complete Divine:

Sacred Exorcist: Sacred Exorcists are very rare in Ravenloft, but very suited to the land and its trials. One must have extensive knowledge of other worlds to take this class, and no native to the Demiplane has such knowledge available easily.
However, it is still not impossible to become a Sacred Exorcist, and they are accepted by many churches across the lands. The religions of Belenus, Brigantia, Daghda, Diancecht, Ezra, Hala, Lugh, Manannam mac Lir, the Morninglord, Osiris, the Overseer, Ra, and Tvashtri all sponsor Exorcists. Even though this class is rare, they are most commonly found in Barovia, Darkon, Har’Akir, Hazlan, Mordent, Nidala, Sri Raji, and Tepest.
Alterations: Spells: Some spells function differently in Ravenloft. See Altered Magic in Chapter Three of the Ravenloft Player’s Handbook.
Exorcism: Incorporeal undead gain a +1 bonus to the DC that the Exorcist must make to excise a spirit.
Detect Evil: This ability is changed to the ability to detect the true nature of Evil Outsiders, as a Paladin.
Dispel Evil: This ability is affected as the spell of the same name as described under Altered Magic in chapter three of the Ravenloft Player’s Handbook.
Consecrated Presence: This ability is affected as the spell Consecrate as described under Altered Magic in chapter three of the Ravenloft Player’s Handbook.

The hardest thing about this class is the requirements of Knowledge (The Planes). Remember, for all classes in Ravenloft this skill is considered cross-class.
