The Story of S, the Kargatane novel . . .

Yes, we all need to step back and take a moment . . . but . . . consider this . . .
The shadows of future Gazetteers will almost certainly never take on substance let alone see the light of day. Yet the story arc running through them is fully fleshed out. To the extent that I understand such matters, it is the property of the Kargatane. So might not they, or their appointed minions, set pen to paper and produce the epic tale? Were permission needed from White Wolf, it would be a fine parting gift.
Whether the tale would begin at the beginning or pick up where the Gazetteers left off would be of little ultimate consequence.
Madness or brilliance?
