I`m sure i did something wrong because those saves bonus and AC values seems to high... the whole seems too much in fact.. can you tell me what you think about this Fellow wererat?

First off, the bonus from a stat of 24 is only +7 so you can reduce a couple of the ACs.

Second, how the heck did you get those saving throw numbers?
A L4 Rogue should only have Fort +1, Ref +4, Will +1 modified by ability (to +3/+6/+2).

For transformed wererats, Dex also only increases by +6, not the +7 in your character, while the Con does increase by +2. This adds a +3 and +1 bonus to Reflex and Fortitude respectively.

Oh, and the bonus hitpoints are 1d8+2 not 1d8+1.

Wererats also don't have claw attacks and instead have weak bite attacks.

Did you do this yourself or was an NPC generator used?

I`m sorry but i did it myself... if i had acces to a PC generator surely these stats would be more realistic!

And yes i knew there was something wrong because i too found the bonus saves unbeleivable!

thanks for our insight!

It happens. And the lycanthrope templates are hard to read at times. You did most of the work and it still took me 10-15 minutes to double-check everything.

You aren't interested in submitting this character to my NPC netbook, are you? :)

You`re very funny Desdichado  of course not i won`t submit this npc on any netbook. Not because his background or story sucks (wich is not the case) but simply because a wererat/rogue as been seen time and time over so who would find it cool.... beside a beginning player party like mine?

thanks all

You might find this article on Wotc useful: Savage progression for the Wererat template. Basically it translates the template into a class progression that you multiclass into. SKR did those for all of the basic lycanthropes and more. Make sure to also read the introductory article Savage Progressions - Gaining a Template Midcampaign.

Other useful links in the online SRD:
Lycanthrope template (scroll down until Lycanthropes as characters) and the description of the animal type.
