Domains drawn into the mists...

Which domains came from the same worlds?
It seems Barovia, Borca, Sebua, and Har'akir are from the same prime world, and I heard something about Paridon and the Shadowlands cluster, so I was wondering if any other domains have relations which each other.
And I don't mean domains that were conjured up by the mists after the darklord was chased out of Barovia.

Off the top of my head I can remeber-
Falkovina & Sithicus= Krynn
Hazlan, Kartakass and maybe Nova Vaasa - Faerun
Darkon and Vechor- Oerth

Their rulers yes, but the lands no.
I think the FAQ has information on this. Check the Study.

The FAQ only says which darklords and characters are from certain DnD settings.
Besides, I meant domains that were literally drawn into the mist. Domains like Falkovnia and Sithicus were created after their darklords wandered into the mists from a different domain.

Nova Vaasa mirrors Vaasa from Faerun.

Mordent is a realm that was directly drawn into the mists. It was part of Oerth if I may recall, before the incident with the 'Alchemist'.
Kartakass doesn't reflect Cormyr in the slightest, which is part of Harkon's curse of being in such a backwater realm (Cormyr is one of the mightiest realms in faeurn).
Hazlan resembles Thay enough to agonize Hazlik, but it isn't quite Thay. The Rashemani (Rashimi in FR) and Mulan races are taken right out of Faerun.
Nova Vaasa marks an interesting case. Supposedly it was part of a 'Vaasa', but Tristen/Malken's Background describes the Law giver being in the original realm (although the Law Giver is by far cooler than any evil FR deity, it certainly wasn't there naturally). Nova Vaasa also has some ties with the Hordelands, a nation of horsemen and expansive fields. Nova Vaasa's emphasis on chivalry and nobility sounds sort of like Damara too. 'Vaasa' is likely a blended hallucination of numerous Northern fearun areas, created by the Dark Powers. Or, its a way for the writers to make a reference without getting sued.
Was Odiare part of gothic earth? Or was that only Maligno?

Are you sure?
Mordent seems too advanced to come from medieval Oerth...

Odiare was wrenched directly from Gothic Earth's Toscana, here in Italy.
I think the lands DIRECTLY taken from the Prime Material are few (I mean lands that were taken to the Demiplane along with their darklord)... The other are inspired or tied to the curse of the DL.
I can think about some of them, let's see...
Mordent, Kalidnay, Forlorn, Tepest, Sri Raji and Rokushima Tayoo are the first ones I can think of.

Mordent I'm pretty sure was drawn in, and not created inside of Ravenloft. Mordent is also one of the few Domains with a history that remains decently accurate. When Azalin and Strahd opened a portal at the same time that the Alchemist activated his device, events then occured in Mordent that Azalin and Strahd still don't fully remember. What ever happened resulted in Mordent being drawn into Ravenloft. My guess was Oerth as it would probably be where Azalin would try and open a portal to.

In the book, the first couple of attempts by Azalin to go to Oerth didn't work. When Azalin lost control of the portal, it took them to Mordent.

With the high technology, low magic level and athmosphere Mordent would have to be in the far future of Oerth then. But i think even then it wouldn't fit there.
Flavour wise it is more similar to perhaps the Shadowborn Cluster or Paridon - or even Barovia (though more modern) in that it parallels an realworld Earth location but with a bit of fantasy added.

Remember that the majority of the realms in Ravenloft have false histories and thus the Lawgiver could have been created that way.

The 2E products make it very clear that the Lawgiver is, in fact, Bane of the Faerun pantheon. In fact, some products mention that the Lawgiver's clergy ceased to receive their spells for a time (coinciding with the Great Upheaval IIRC), which is the same period when Bane and the other FR deities were ousted from their divine status by Ao in the Time of Troubles. Bane was killed in that event, but the Dark Powers took over as a source of Lawgiver-clerics' spells, much as they provide spells to the clergy of Zhakata or the Wolf God (neither of whom were ever real).

I was under the impression that Count Strahd is the only native Darklord from Ravenloft. I believe each land was created in Ravenloft to suit the Darklord that came there by the mist. No each Darklord had a native plane that he/she came from but as the mist swallowing the whole land the darklord was from I have not gotten that far into research.

Several Darklords have been born in the demiplane and managed to gain the dubious honor of earning their own domain: Frant Markov, Yagno Petrova, Gabby Aderre, Alfred Timothy and Inza are the ones I can think of offhand.
ETA: or am I misinterpreting what you said here?
