Check this A good site to test what your place is in the political compass. This is not horror related and I believe we are mature enough to not start arguing over this. If I'm wrong, please moderators take care of this thread.
It is an interesting test however that I would like to share with you.
BTW I would like to point that I'm around the center (-1 economic/0.46 liberal)

Way off the center for me:
Economic Left/Right: -6.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.15
I guess Cartman would say I'm a hippie

I didn't know it could get so far to the left
You are even more leftish/libertarian than my father!
Don't you think you should act more like a middle-aged conservative?

Economic Left/Right: -4.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.00
I'm the perfect balance! Woohoo! Time to start my bid for the presidency!

You think you're well balanced? I get 0.88 on the Economic left/right, and -0.41 on the Social Libertarian/Authoritarian front.
I think this must meant that my various extreme political positions just happen to cancel each other out, because my politics strike almost everyone I know as really wacky...

Yeah, that's what I think of my "balanced" position. I usually get labeled as "Conservative" for my politically incorrect statements I frequently make in public, but I can find plenty of ways to offend conservatives as well.

I'm Econmic Left/Right -5.25 and Social Libertarian/Authoritarian -4.21. This puts me close to Gandhi, the Dahlai Lama, and Nelson Mandela's dots on the graph, so I think I'm in good company at least.

Charlatan: A good company? Do the brutally murdered people that you have
left in your way feel the same?
To All: I checked some things. If you put "I strongly agree" to all questions you end up as Le/Ri 0 and Li/Au 4.36
If you put "I strongly disagree" to all questions you end up as Le/ri 0 and Li/Au -4.36
So it is balanced.
Also take a look of the FAQ It is very interesting.

Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.33
Right there with Charlatan and Joel...and my dot seemed to share the same place with Nelson Mandela. I can live with that.

Balanced? According to this, I'm pretty much dead center:
Economic Left/Right: -1.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.44
Just slightly left (I'm somewhat sympathetic, but not a lot), and slightly authoritarian (I am a father & grandfather, and supervisor of 30 people at work, after all).
Does that make me 'main-stream'?

Economic Left/Right: -7.13
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.03
Apparently I'm dead close to Ghandi. Then again, I do go to a university where the campus president does not wear shoes. Good test Alhoon! I won't be surpised if we get more negative numbers on this forum.

I'm sensing a pattern in the examples the survey ahs chosen.
Let's see, Ghandi and Nelson Mandella represents Left Libertairanism
Hitler, Marget Thatcher, Steven Harper (Candians know him), and [ugh] George Bush represent right wing authroitarism.
Gee, which side do you want to be on?

Indeed, there are not many examples of centrists leaders - no de Gaulle, Clinton, Trudeau, Kennedy, etc.
And you are right, the ++ side has many people we would think twice before inviting to a party
However, you are not supposed to see this graph before getting your results. So, I think the test is working well too see where you are in this compass, it's just the shown examples afterward that are not well balanced.

From the FAQ
You can't be libertarian and left wing
You've got liberals on the right. Don't you know they're left ?
When are you guys gonna learn to spell ?
The makers of the site must have monumental patience.
