Reckonings: Arcadius Returns

Arcadius found himself on a jagged outcropping of rock, with waves crashing in from all sides. Behind him lay the Misty Border, which appeared to have deliberately deposited him on this reef--though whether in malice or mercy was hard to say. Ahead of him was a graveyard of ships, but not the one he was searching for: all these had run aground on the jagged shoals that run the length of yet another unknown shoreline.
He was not in Saragoss, that was for certain. Perhaps he should just turn around and leave, but then this place might have information or help that would be valuable later. Perhaps he should contact Peregrine or Moriarun before going much farther, just to see how they've fared without him.
Over the crashing waves he heard anguished cries from up the beach, and wondered whether he might arrive in time to prevent some injustice and gain a friend...or whether he should flee before such a fate came looking for him....
