Goodbye Scuddles

I just need to let out my feelings. My black Manx cat, Scuddles, died this mourning. He was 16 years old, and a wonderful cat. He was sweet and gentle, and I loved him very much. I am happy he died in his sleep. I discovered on Nov 1st, that he had a tumor near his liver. It was removed that day, but it turned out to be cancerous. I just wanted to share my love for my cat, and my saddness. Heck, I would make a deal with the dark powers if I could have my old friend back.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss, Midnight cat.
It's a heart-breaking things to have such a faithful companion and friend leave us.

Sorry to hear about your cat, when mine died some years back (at the tender age of 19) I didn't stop drying for 3 days. Then again, I couldn't rememebr a time before having her, which made it worse. She still haunts us though

Thank you all. It was a rough weekend especially since I had to dig Scuddle's grave and bury him. I told myself, that he was getting old, trying to prepare myself for the heart break. After he passed on I still cried all weekend.
This has been a bad year for me for pets. First my 3 year old female cats of dies march 19, and now Scuddles dies at the age of 16.
