Go watch this - it's the single best fantasy series ever done.

Nothing, not even the LotR movies can compare to the standards this series set in its day.

I watched the first 10 minutes and got annoyed with Deedlit. She was nothing like I expected--in other words, very immature. The GIANT PAULDRONS don't help :<.

Okay, never heard of this series. When was it made/what is it about?

It's an anime, comic, and novel series based on D&D.

And the novels were based on a RPG (which I have) and it was superior to D&D at the time, just a shame it was never translated into English.

It's nice to hear about this release, just a shame it's come far to late for me seeing how I bought it all on DVD years and years ago

I have the novels in French, and, since the license for Lodoss War video games has recently been given out,
I expect more stuff on it soon.

Can't believe it's been 20 years already since this was released.
