Also called ghost-breakers or yurei-kodako, the Ghost-Cracker String is an innovation of [[Rokuma]] [[fireworks]] consisting of tiny [[bamboo]] tubes sealed, filled with [[gunpowder]], and tied together on a [[fuse]]. This allows for rapid-fire popping (dealing no damage but lots of noise) that can frighten creatures of [[animal]] [[intelligence]] or cause a distraction. The popping finishes after 1d3+1 rounds.<ref>[http://fraternityofshadows.com/TheVault/VRA_WE-Equip.pdf Van Richten's Arsenal Web Enhancement] p. 1-2</ref>
